This site-specific public art installation includes sculpture and text celebrating communication, rail lines, and the city as a meeting place. Poetry excerpts engraved in paver stones connect ground to sky and include imagery of birds, threads, and transmission. Stone, engraving, utility pole, structural aluminum, steel, and powder-coated bird forms complete the assemblage, lifting the eye. © Brent Wahl
